The baby soother designed for Philips Avent’s new range may look at first like many other soothers. This may due to the fact that the design changes made were quickly adopted and so became generic.
The starting point was to make it comfortable as well as safe. To avoid saliva rash we added as many holes as the safety regulations would allow. Changed toa more ergonomic shape and rolled all the edges away from the baby’s skin. The product was also made translucent & Transparent to see more of the child. We worked with the production line engineers to create the Point of sale with cold be used as a travel case for sterilised soothers.
