The Addis Laundry Basket started a a commercially driven project which let us improve an outdated product too. Their current basket still sold well but was looking a little dated compared to the competition. However, the main problem was the amount of plastic it required which was threatening it commercial viability.
The new concept is not just much lighter, it is stronger and larger, yet it nests much closer than its predecessor. Added to this was the option for it to be sold with or without lift up handled which allow single handed carrying.
